What I’ve been up to the last several weeks…

Hi friends!
OHMYWORD the craziness is coming to an end!
I am just finishing year 1 of my admin credential program and it has been all kinds of wonderful. Busy, but I’ve learned so much and met so many wonderful people, and I couldn’t be more excited about continuing my internship this summer and finishing up in one more year! All I have left is a law final that I will be working on this afternoon and then I’ll be done for now! Phew!
So if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, in addition to teaching all day, I’ve spent the majority of my time in classes and writing papers. So now that that is {almost} over it is really starting to feel like summer! Even though I still have 6 1/2 weeks left of teaching, I feel like I am going to have a lot more free time and I’m excited to get back to doing some of the other things I love, like blogging, reading, creating, and spending time poolside enjoying this beautiful weather!
I have a long list that’s been piling up of things I’ve wanted to blog about, and since I haven’t gotten around to any of them, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite moments with some sweet friends today!
First, several weeks ago I got to meet all of these fabulous ladies at the Cheesecake factory at the Souther California teacher blogger meet up!
Cheryl From Auntie’s Sweet Life
Courtney from Ramona Recommends
Molly (Me!)
Kristen from Easy Teaching Tools
Lauren from A Teachable Teacher
Caitlin from Teach Inspire Change
Stephanie from Teaching in Room 6
Janice @1islandlover
Jessica @jgpreece
These ladies were all so much fun and we had a fabulous time!! I was so excited to meet everyone! We could have stayed there all day talking!
Me & Courtney! She is super sweet and stylish and shares my love of children’s books!!!
I also took a photography class with Sandy this month at Balboa Park! I’m trying to finally figure out how to use my camera that I’ve had for over a year now! I’ve got some of the basics down now, but there is still so much to learn!
And speaking of Sandy, she just had a beautiful baby boy!!
Head over to her blog to see her sweet pictures!!
I can’t believe that it is already MAY!! This year is flying by! I am thankful that things will be calming down for a little while though so I can catch up on everything that I’ve missed the past few months!
  1. Hey hun! Hope you are well!!! 2 questions: 1. How do you plan a meet up or hear about a meet up? 2. Where did you get those cookies? SO cute! 馃檪

  2. Mary Bauer says:

I finished my admin certificate several years ago. I remember the craziness. Best wishes.
