As promised, here are some more pics from the starburst goodies that my class made for our 8th graders!
On Wednesday we had our farewell assembly for our 8th graders who will be graduating next week. Each class makes a small gift for each student and does a small presentation for them. For our gift, I bought cellophane bags and 2 huge bags of starburst. Then my kiddos put the starburst in a bag, traced and cut out the star, and wrote our sweet little note on it. Then they punched a hole in the top of the star and tied it to their bag! I had a couple students who were experts at the curling, so they helped with curling all the ribbon!
“Put a ‘burst’ of energy in everything you do and you are sure to shine!”
For our presentation, we decided to give the 8th graders some “star” advice…
4 students held up the letter posters they made, while 4 other students read the advice they wrote as a class for each letter!
