If you’ve been around for a while, you know that our classroom library is one of my favorite parts of our classroom! AND some of my students’ favorite books are graphic novels! So today I’m bringing you all the details about our favorite classroom library graphic novels!
I want to start by saying that there are SO MANY amazing books I could add to this blog post! Our graphic novel section is overflowing with books and my students flock to that section when they are looking for a new book to read! I’m going to include some of their absolute favorites in this blog post, but I am constantly updating my Amazon storefront list with graphic novel titles, so that’s a great place to check for even more graphic novel titles!
Also, I teach 5th grade, but the graphic novels in my classroom library reflect the diverse interests and reading levels of my students. Some of these books would also be appropriate in lower grades, and some for middle school classrooms. You know your students best! All right, let’s dive in!
You can click on any of the images to head to Amazon to read a more detailed description of the book or shop using my affiliate link!
I feel like I’m leaving out so many of our favorite graphic novels, but I’m going to stop there for now! If you want to see even more classroom library graphic novel book recommendations check out my Amazon storefront with more of our favorite titles!

Thank you for sharing! The graphic novel spine labels are so cute. I purchased the classroom library bundle from your TPT store last year. The graphic novel genre was the only one that I was missing. Is there any chance that you will be offering a graphic novel poster as well?
Hi Christie!
I didn’t include graphic novels in the genre pack because it’s actually a format, not a genre! I know there’s a misconception about graphic novels being a genre (I used to think they were a genre too!), so I’m trying to do my part to help differentiate it! I teach my students that all types of different genres can be written in a graphic novel format! They are realistic fiction graphic novels, fantasy graphic novels, and so on! Hope that helps clarify!
