I am so excited to have more time for my master’s program and to do a bunch of crafty things, but I am going to miss my kiddos so much!! My class this year was amazing and I am really gonna miss their sweet, smiling faces and positive energy!
Of course, I still have tons to do before our last day next Wednesday!
Including end of the year gifts!
Last year was a lot different because our school closed down at the end of the year. It was very emotional because we had to say goodbye to all our students and our wonderful staff, and our kiddos had to say goodbye to all of their teachers and friends. A few of them stayed together at new schools, but many went off to different schools all over the city. I wanted to make them something extra special to remember their last year there as well as all of our fun memories together!
I got wooden picture frames at Michaels and I painted them different colors and used puffy paint and glitter glue to write on them. I put a class picture from our field trip to the Wild Animal Park in each frame.
I made the books for them with a collection of things that we had done throughout the year that I had saved. I took pictures of all of my kiddos “jumping” and they turned out great!! I love how they all put their personalities into their photos!聽Each book was titled, “Jumping through a wonderful year!”
I got the sand buckets at Michael’s. They were 99垄, and I used a 20% off your total purchase coupon.
(I was just at Party City today and they have very similar buckets for 99垄聽as well!)
Then I typed up a “Survival Kit for Life” using miscellaneous items. There are lots of great ideas online, and I just picked and chose which ones I liked best and make up a couple of my own to fit my needs and what I knew I could find!
I put all the items in a cellophane bag and tied the top with a ribbon. Then I backed the words on cardstock paper and put everything in the buckets!
I added a fun border for these tags, which you can get in my tpt store!
Cute idea! Where do you find the time? 馃槈
